Title
Cuckoo
Synopsis
Conceived for the two-story window of Rosenfeld Gallery in Tel Aviv, the video sculpture occupied and blocked the gallery’s entrance. The twelve-hour video sequence, synchronized with real time and projected from sunset to sunrise, features a cuckoo clock animated by human eyes that gaze outward. At thirty-minute intervals, a recorded “cuckoo” call resounds and a bird emerges.
