A Nous la Liberté
Synopsis
Evoking queries pertaining to human freedom and bondage, A Nous la Liberté (freedom for us) is a video installation centered on a cube projected on the outside and within. An image of a prison cell turned inside out. Each facet presents a stop motion sequence with sound composition of the prisoner as an automaton. Inside the cube is a video projection of shadow hand performance by shadow artist Albert Almoznino.
